SeniorHangouts  is an online version of SeniorNet. SeniorNet Wellington recommends that members take advantage of this service. 

The new site is essentially a modern version of the Bulletin Board Services some of you may have used in the days of dial-up internet, and provides similar features such as Interest Groups, Learning Videos, Help sessions, Live Demonstrations, Interactive Online Events, Questions & Answers Sessions, and much more – look at the pics below.

NOTE that access to SeniorHangouts is restricted to SeniorNet members. You can apply by emailing wellington@seniornet.nz. All we need is your full name, email address, phone number and membership number (if you don’t have this, we can help). 

We will pass your application on to SeniorHangouts Administration who will then email you direct with instructions to sign-up for the service … this may take a couple of days, so don’t panic.
