SeniorHangouts  is an online version of SeniorNet. SeniorNet Wellington recommends that members take advantage of this service. 

The new site is essentially a modern version of the Bulletin Board Services some of you may have used in the days of dial-up internet, and provides similar features such as Interest Groups, Learning Videos, Help sessions, Live Demonstrations, Interactive Online Events, Questions & Answers Sessions, and much more – look at the pics below.

Become a member of Wellington SeniorNet:

NOTE that access to SeniorHangouts is restricted to SeniorNet members. You can apply by emailing wellingtonseniornet@gmail.com All we need is your full name, email address, phone number and membership number (if you don’t have this, we can help). 

One you have joined:

We will pass your application on to SeniorHangouts Administration who will then email you direct with instructions to sign-up for the service … this may take a couple of days, so don’t panic.
